Why are you migrating?

The migration from Thecus Wiki to NAS Website is part of an improvement initiative. The main purpose is to give the site a new look and make it more user friendly. Another reason is that the hosting of the Thecus Wiki is not as stable and reliable as desired.

How long will it take?

The migration is expected to take a while, since there are an extensive number of pages to be manually moved. Hopefully it shouldn't take too long, but expect at least a few months.

Where can I find the information I look for?

During the migration, some pages might exist at both sites. However pages at the Thecus Wiki will be locked to read-only when the information has been moved to the NAS Website. This means that updates of that particular page should then take place at the NAS Website.

What about my username?

Usernames and passwords will not be transfered. Please create a new account.

How will you do it?

Pages from Thecus Wiki will manually be moved to the new site. For each page moved, page name, links, categories etc will be updated to reflect the structure of the new site. Page history will not be retained.

Why don't you use import/export tools?

The structure of the NAS Website is different from the Thecus Wiki. For instance pages are now named differently, links need to be updated etc. As a consequence we decided to move the pages manually.
