Default Hardware

Motherboard

The motherboard is labelled "Thecus N5200_MB Ver:2.0", and so is perhaps identical to the N5200.

Chips include:

• Intel NH82801 - Southbridge?
• Marvell 88SX6081 - SATA controller

RAM: 1 socket. Comes with 512MB DDR333 CL 2.5 module.

The riser for the LAN network port is labelled "N4500_RJ45 v0.9".

PSU

• 1U4500R: 2x Zippy/Emacs MIN-6251P 250W (similar to MIN2-6251P and R1M-6250P)

Onboard storage

• 128MB flash microdisk with 2.5" 44 pin IDE Connector. The connector is female, rather than the usual male for 2.5" hard disks, so a gender changer is needed to connect it to another system or USB adaptor.
• Part number on mine is UFDM128SHCSC44HL.

• This is a "left" side module. A vertical module will not fit as it extends vertically from the motherboard and would hit the case. A right hand module would not fit because of interference with the side of the unit.

External ports

• USB 2.0 A ports (2x back, 1x front)

• WAN 1000 Mbps Ethernet connector

• Serial Port for LCD display
• 4 SATA ports connecting the hotswap bays to the motherboard
• 4 SATA ports connected to the hotswap bays, but not to the motherboard
