Description

This module installs the file utility which determines the type of filesystem of a partition using the -s switch. This module also installs a modified version of usb.hotplug that allows for the automounting of non FAT USB and non Thecus format eSATA partitons , drives or devices. This module also allows for the mounting of smb and cifs shares via ssh.

Eventually this module may include ntfs-3g or another method of mounting ntfs partitons and the script will be updated to support that.

Note: You need to extract the Mod file from the Tar.gz otherwise the installer does nothing. The WWW page for this module now does show, there was a typo in the install.sh, but the file has been fixed now. To mount eSATA partitions use the SSH module and type /img/bin/mount_eSATA.sh new, after this module has been enabled. I am currently working on automounting eSATA, however as my USB doesn't work atm, there might be some delays..
