Stuck at boot time: Self testing
My N3200 is stuck at boot time with a message of "Self testing" on the LCD
This has been seen on several current models (Feb 08) and it appears that what is actually happening is the system is performing disk, filesystem, and RAID checks and rebuilds and WILL continue to boot once those have completed. However we have seen this take SEVERAL HOURS in some cases. So before giving up on it, leave it powered up and trying to boot overnight or longer!
No box access after 1.00.03 upgrade
I have recently downloaded and installed the 1.00.03 firmware. After that I was unable to access the box with the Dropbear module(installed on the previous firmware). The "N3200_Module_Development" page states that Debian Woody .deb packages can be installed. Unfortunately there is no Dropbear package for that distro. So I tried the OpenSSH but the upload webpage just returns without any modules after trying to install it. Has anybody been able to get shell access to a 1.00.03 flashed box?
Yes, I've been able to ssh in with the SSH-DROPBEAR module installed.
