Compatibility list
CPUs
Intel Core 2 Duo Mobile T7600
- Number of cores: 2
- Frequency: 2333 MHz
- Bus speed: 667 Mhz
- Clock multiplier: 14
- L2 Cache: 4096 KB
- Thermal Design Power: 34 Watt
- Type: 478-pin Micro-FCPGA
- Over-Clocking: NOT POSSIBLE (T7600G can be overclocked)
Due to the nature of having simply 2 cores able to work with more L2 cache, and a higher bus speed the N7700 speeds up quite significantly.
RAM
It seems that the motherboard can only handle 3 GB RAM (BIOS limit??), so upgrading to 4 GB RAM with 2 x 2 GB wastes 1 GB. The bus speed depends on the CPU the 'original' Celeron CPU has a 533 MHz memory bus. The original RAM (at least in my box) is a 667 Mhz DDR2, so RAM with higher Mhz speed is a waste of money unless their latency timing is better.
- Kingston KHX6400D2LL/2G DDR2-800 2GB, CL4 4-4-4-12 (faster timing) - WORKS
